Post by bwd »

Lets get together and share a beer with Morewind before he leaves for France on Oct 1:

Where: Beagle Pub in the Cook Street Village
When: ~8pm Friday September 19th

Mike is preparing a 30 minute presentation about his upcoming trip and will give it in both english and french on Friday 8)

Let me know if you can make it so we can reserve some space.
thanks
Dave

See u there, any public beer consumption is good enough to get me out but hey, I'll miss Mike's throwing hate out there for sure. The presentations should be great  I'll order some popcorn

Windsurf 24/7 and I are planning on joining the festivities on Friday night. Sorry, we are both only fluent in English.

looking forward to getting together before heading out! thanks for organizing this Dave.

got to enjoy the good west coast ales while I'm still here. My experience with France bieres has been dismal so far. I even had a beer so bad that it was undrinkable - first time I've met a beer that was undrinkable, well, with the exception of some university basement-brew experiments.

a vendredi...

Thanks to GrantW for trying, but we can't reserve any space at the Beagle. So some of us will try and get there a bit early and snag some space.

Hey - thanks for the send off get together last night :!: Good friends and some fine brews. I appreciate the support and encouragement. Got some excellent french vocabulary from Hose. Nice to meet Sandy in person too.

Thanks to Barb and Dave for the wind calendar - very cool reminder of the great conditions that await my return, and to RD for the french magazine which I hope to be able to read in a few months.

When we setup in France I'll post some photos of our adventure there.

Perhaps, I'll be checking out this lake 30mins south of Grenoble :?:

Lake Monteynard, situated twenty-five kilometres south of Grenoble in an exceptional natural setting, is famous for its regular summer winds that make it a dream spot for kitesurfing.
Good winds and best wishes to the BWD community...

Salut :!:
