Any one know of something cheap to moderate near the surf ? Going for a month thx

Pretty sure this is where I stayed when I was travelling through some years ago. Right on the beach, fun place if you're a surfer/traveller looking for other like-minded people. Rock reef right out front.

Ozy, check out punta mita for less crowded breaks. Sayulita i heard is a really crowded wave with mucho locals.

Maybe see you there, I leave on Jan 16th but will be staying south of PV for two weeks and driving up to the breaks.

Burrows is another good spot just South of Punta de Mita.

It's spelt Sayulita. There is a really nice camp ground (an a couple not so nice ones) right on the beach with a couple of casitas for rent, they are probably booked though. The surf in Sayulita is pretty marginal, Punta Mita and El Faro should produce better waves.
