Winddoc - you'll enjoy that 7D they are such great cameras for filming with. Get some cheap but great quality nikkor lenses - $100-$150 bucks off ebay, excellent quality. (less painful if you destroy them in the wilderness that way too...)
Pastadude - yeah its become a bit of a hobby, certainly the filming end of things, the editing can be a bit more of a chore but I'm getting to be a lot more proficient than I used to be, so it goes pretty quickly now.
BA - the gopros are great, we didn't use ours enough -
i was actually pretty short on actual kiting shots for the clip, we were too busy kiting when it was windy and I wasn't that interested in wearing it, i just wanted to get out there

Anyway filters: nothing unusual on camera, ND filters occasionally, CPL often, but not always. Most of the editing was done in post using after effects and then premiere.
Soundtrack... i can't even remember now. I think the song at the beginning was called the source?, the next was phoenix - listomania and the darker one I was timestretch by... someone - I think?

I actually almost prefer this one visually - shots from around vic and van and the island this past year.
