81 km of big wind. Started on an original Mistral longboard, 9 ft boom at 9AM - retro without the cost of Sailworks! Wind quickly built to 4.5, solid all day. Some swells big and silky smooth! Made 1/2 jibes or more, got comfortable in the big chop. Had to share little board with Roger.

Trev and I did the dawn patrol from 8-10am. No crowds and great waves for back loops. Tried about 4, including a huge one in front of Trevor. Rotated all the way around and landed with a straight back leg and hyper extended the knee. It hurts now.

I'm with Dave on his last one :D Hit the water at 10:30, first minisession was about 2 hours long, nailed a couple of good duck jibes, couple of good jumps, came back at about 12:30, had a little rest and went out again for about 1.5 hour. Sweet.

3rd day in a row, has been blowing 18 - 20+ at Harrison for the last six days, this weekend I will try Bear Creek (down the Lake 45 minutes ), blows 5.0 there. PS the new Ezzy can handle any wind, just downhaul and outhaul and it still goes in 20+ (you need a bigger sail at Harrison as it is gusty and one hole in the middle)

First time on water in 16 Days! :D Pretty lifty,water was choppy at first. Kited to Ross Bay, through big waves at the point (tide rip meets wind) to the flat water on the other side - sweet! Amazingly flat, with the odd clean wave on starboard tack.
Came back to the bay, and the wind had dropped slightly, and the water was now really clean with small waves. Amazing what 1/2 an hour can do to the water.

Got there at 6pm, wind starting to pick up. Slogged around with about 5 other windsurfers for an hour. Around 7pm the wind kicked in, got a good 2 hours of planing in on very flat water. Decent wind especially out near the entrance to the bay. Did a few kelp induced endos.
