Day two on the DW board, however, this time in the swell. Went great! Same as yesterday, it was easy to get up and go. Great turns and some awesome rides on the waves the current was producing. Had a spell too far down in the bay just as the wind dropped. Had a hard time getting going again. But then the wind filled in again and was back truckin' up and DW. Lovin' the board!

Sounding very much like a broken record....another fantastic day at RB. Not quite as good as Sunday, but the early flat water in the bay was a nice treat after the recent bumpiness. There was enough turbulence at the point for a few flagout runs with GregCan, Danno, and Gustastic. Swells did develop later on in the day and gave us some nice downhill foiling. A fun after work sunny session, wind was more consistent and less gusty today. Stayed around Cook St as it provided some nice smooth swell. Got trapped by some kelp on my way in as it wrapped around the foil, they are definitely growing fast. Lots of people out and smiles all round!

Launched just as MtnarG was coming in -- timed it perfectly so that the wind dropped to almost nothing as I stepped into the water. By the time I finally got out to the wind line I had drifted further downwind than I liked. Best day ever at LB. Up to logo high sets and peeling. Wind was side off yesterday but quite a few closeouts but still incredible. Today was side off for the first few hours and insane. Never seen consistent side off there. Usually it's at the very beginning, and then goes side shore quickly, but for some reason the stars aligned the last couple of days. Super high speed runs down the line. FM. Must drink beer now.

Repeat of yesterday but the take off zone was super sketchy with light wind and crowded line up of wingers and towers. Kauli Seadi out and shredding. Turns are feeling fast and aggressive. Towing was a mix of a couple great waves and then mostly duds. The other guys were getting epic set waves. Our driver was inexperienced and chose random swell. Still pretty amazing all in all! Many calories burned!

Holy swells! Those were the biggest swells I have seen at RB. I had some of my most epic, faceplant specials when I just couldn't push the nose down far enough to match the steepness of the that swell I was on. The wind was on at times and then reduced, making it harder to navigate the swells. Wonderful day regardless with a full RB with all kinds of watercraft. My main thing was to avoid the crashed and stay out of the way of the elite riders. Sadly, my GPS didn't track. Winds dropped and I hurried back.

Crazy swell. I think I headed out right at the peak and I was way over powered. Did not last long and then I was wishing I'd gone a bit bigger. Looked like it should have been windier. Had some nice smooth swell gybes and a bit of down wind riding. Went for some jumps but could not seem to land them. Half-committed to a forward loop (bad idea) but chickened out and almost knocked the wind out of myself :( Still a fun session. Would have liked to have stayed out longer.

For an hour, the biggest waves I've seen at Nitinat. I was lit up on the 3m and 60L, and could barely sheet in. Did not have a harness on the boom so just hangin' on. Ms. Slaker was out earlier, 3m too, and gybed 3x!

The wind was weird today, turbulent and punchy. I still had a pretty good session but I did feel challenged and uncertain. I am not sure why but it is what it is. I certainly did have some fun with the big swell. That swell could have been truly awesome but the chop was something else. I did get to ride some big fat swell edges, so I am certainly grateful. I enjoyed my after session debrief time with j_dog, as we watched the brave jumpers. So glad for the spring/summer conditions at Clover.

Lots of sun and the warm weather made for fun session however the large swell combined with the current and shore bubble made it challenging at times. Fun swell around Clover Pt, also found some fun swells around Cook St but it ended up becoming large swelly bombs after a while. It was fun riding them but then it became really choppy between the swells so decided to call it. Thanks Davey_k for the launch and the chat after.

First time out on the 'new' DW board I bought off of Windoc. What a great session! I was a bit worried how it would go with such a narrow board but I think it's even easier than the typical boards! I start sideways on my knees as I've never really used/practiced the stink bug but it was really quite easy. The fore/aft stability makes a big difference as Greg points out in his Omen vids. Scored a quick session. Beautiful warm barefoot day! Big smooth swellys, some real bomber rides. Very nice till wind dropped which had many of us bobbing and schlogging and pumping for a while in the large rollers. Managed to get going and beelined it to the beach. Fun times with a lot of wings and new faces.

First while was good practice, almost got round on the outside with wave assist. BIG on outside I mostly stayed just inside the tide race. Still roaring all around. I chased Angelico down wind and wobbly waves for a bit of drunken monkeying, maybe I'll get a cameo on video. BWD was following me and did a nice circuit as a I swam after crashing crossing a biggie.
