Wasnt expecting much today. Turned into a fun quick session. Tried out a 200 V tail without a shim and just didnt fill right, made my way in after 10 mins to change it out to the regular 235. I need to get a smaller tail.. maybe 200 or smaller. So warm, no hood or gloves, was toasty the whole time in the 5mm. Should have taken the straps off so not to tempt myself into a couple jumps, because that is what flared up the ribs / ab injury for the rest of the session. More tomorrow hopefully. Decided not to leave wind to find wind. Used a bit of everything today. Started on the DW board and APF1675 - way too much foil in the surprise 20-30kts and 3ft swell. Switched to 1225 and it was marginally better. Went to he 60L/1000 and that is such a fun combo. Good fun until it died and got rainy, but it came back a bit and flattened out so went out on DW and APF. Super cruisey and got going in 10kts on a 3.5, but still not sold on the long narrow board yet.

Tweezer and I did the trek to CB and arrived to epic looking conditions! Lots of stoked local WS crew and a few of us wingers. Took the straps off the Ginxu, put the small Dart tail on with the 1000 and 3m. Super fun but up and down wind. The odd fantastic swell offered some great rides. Seeing Ozy hucking big backloops gave me pangs of windsurf envy, but I would have been frustrated on my 86L ,I'm sure. Love seeing windsurfing alive and kicking here. Arrived at Noon and watched for an hour till the wind outside showed up inside. On the water just after 1pm with the 5.2m Flyer and schlogged out to the wind and ripped for 30 mins till it picked up so came in and rigged the 4.5m Flyer and flattened it out. Gusty inside and very wavy outside, large confused swells but lots of fun to ride and gybe on them. Lots of friendly faces out with lots I didn't know or recognize. Whewie. Forecasted for 15ish but blew up out here. Seemed 25ish when I arrived so watched for a bit, assuming 5m conditions. But it was steady so went with 4m. Turned out to be 3m conditions, fully flagged out and over-foiled as well. November heat wave strikes Willows! Anticipating a much cooler session, I only brought my drysuit. I was soaked in sweat by the end of the 1hr session. Shared the swells with Paul, Greg, Gautam, and Bobson out by CP. Willows was its usual gusty and holey goodness making for challenging rides right in the bay. Nice warmish, windy and sunny afternoon. Worth bailing from work early except for the sunny bit, resulting in blinding starboard tacks heading upwind. Was a very frustratingly breachy first half then got dailed in and scored some great rides. Memories of summer but bring on the big south easterlies. Robertson out!

Not enough to knock the rust off but made some progress on it. Tried a new 275 tail and was quite a handful to wrangle in the pitchyness but I see the potential in loosening up the 999 more. Track and foot placement need to be dialed in. Decent wind on the outside and no blind kelp dates.

Rigged for a lite wind session and got one! Also a no wind session and a overpowered session, all in one session!
Warm and breezy at the Rock until 315 when it suddenly picked up and everyone was overpowered. Still, some nice swell rides over by the pier until it was too much on the arms. Found a weed free zone and just stuck to it, but it was a minefield out there.

Phun! Finally some decent powah and some great swells off and on. Some hops, some swerves, some leg cramps from not eating or drinking much today. Got completely rag dolled at top speed by a kelp ball. Staring at the glare from the sun on the water heading out sucked and made foiling by brail a bit sketchy. Good crew out!

Took an hour off work and hit CP because all I have is a fast foil so wanted some flat water as it's not the best set up for waves. Anyways, arrived to no one out but a lot of sun in my eyes at CP/Willows. 15-20kts with some holes but sunny and warm. headed out and it was very windy in the gusts. the 4.5m was well overpowered but it was doable in the holes with a bit of pumping to keep it up. I seem to be getting repeatedly surprised by the quality of the winds in the last few days. No complaints, happy to welcome more. Steady power in the middle of the mouth of the bay. I started off failing in my first 3 stbd gybes, but after that, the luck of the non-Irish was with me. I even pulled off a non-stop 14-gybe sine wave that was only limited by my own stamina, not the wind supply. Looked really cool on the GPS track. Thanks to Rup-Dogg for sharing the sunshine swells with me! Missed the other OGs.
