Got 2 sessions in today. First was nothing exciting around 1-2pm. Lots of slogging, and just generally trying to stay foiling. The second was an epic session with RuppDog and Shaggy from 7:30ish to sunset for me. Perfectly lit on the 5m and great swell running up at clover. Few really nice jumps, tacks, and speed runs. Havent seen swell like that in a few months either. Lots of effort and skunkings to get that session!

Wind seemed decent and so did the swells. Got on the water with Danno. Tuna joined later. 999 was good to start and then the wind sagged. Pump schlogged in, chatted with SUP Rome and put on the magic foil to milk a little more out of the session. Later Tyl tried the magic foil and said "there ain't no magic - just plain missionary". Still magic in a way!

A little less wind than in the morning, but waited for the tide to rise and launched with the 8m at 300pm. This after a short "false" launch on the 5m after it dropped 5 knots. Came back with the 8m and it was the right call. Super steady and warm in the sun. One other wing out, and a few kites.

Morning sail in the Amazon mega dinghy, not planing with 7 aboard. Then in to willows beach and brought out the foil and all 3 wings. Sun in law and grandson did ok for first time on a wing. Both got standing, Maciej very nearly on foil. 8 year old granddaughter had a blast for hours playing with the 3 m. I ferry foiled upwind a few times. A couple others upwind later.

A few horsetails kept fogbank from doing its job. Explored Nat River at Head of Lake on 110/5.9, CC on 75/4.0 LOL, then up to the island, no circumnavigation for 6 years, took me 2 tries :) as not even a puff thru the gap. Jelly 96& 78/4.7. Pretty light it seemed so stayed juiced on same gear for eve session. Fun wing airs, kite airs, me chop hops lol, one anemic backie. Amazing rock steady wind on camp 1/2 of lake mostly

Tried Heineken gybes on weak side, passable, and heel side tacks on strong side, mostly wipeouts with one passable tack. Been shimmed with one red/one blue this week (ie. +1.5 deg) and I find heel side tacking a lot harder with the small foil and small wing. Much easier with the HS1850 in lighter air with a 5 or 6 m wing. Tried to go faster today during the "recovery session" but won't be able to tell until I upload the track. Got my weak side heel side tacks pretty dialled to the point that they are now my strong side. Weird. Tried Richard's proto 5M Glide for next year. 2.5 pounds?!?! WTF?? Insane. Best drift in a wing I've felt yet due to the weight. What will this sport look like in 5 years? Ten? Hit some decent speeds on the big foil today.

Sm fogbank. Starting properly 5.9/110, new to me 5.3 feels nice n soft. Tuned it up then 5.0 for couple hrs, not juiced. Fun backloop attempt, bunch of hops n speed runs, racing on wave gear not ideal :) died early but Jelly got enough TOW

Trying out new smaller board . Shore bubble made it a pain to go in and adjust foil 2 or 3 times, may have to move footstraps back as well. Tricky starting in swell even at only 10 liters less.
