1st one on the water! 15kts at 10:30am. Sailed for 2 hours and went 63kms. Great flat water session. Came in for a snack and water. Went back out and finished off my 100kms, 107 actually. Lots of Wings and Kites! Even Pete Norie made an appearance. Last day of 4 and was best conditions for me and made the 4.5m Flyer work all day. Loving the lake!!

I met George at the point and we talked about all the details of launching and landing at Clover. Thanks George for the help setting up and the photos. It was light wind and flat water which manifested as the best Tiki session I have had to date. The relatively flat water was just the thing for the Tiki! I was perfectly powered on the big Flite as long as I stayed off shore. It really got soft if I got within eyeshot of the Spiral staircase. Luckily Shaggy had some help finding the G spot. South Gordons launch, easy upwinding with wind angle, decent swell by Martins. But wind dropped a little, not enough for 4m, had to slog in ... didn't bother re-rigging. Fun to watch J and J's frothing newb antics. Plus I think we may have EF convinced to join the Foil Geek Army. TK at Otter, MC in the mix too.

First time playing with the G spot in a couple years. Launched from the south end. Tried the 4.0 but couldn't get it up. Juiced on 5.0 till it lightened up a bit. Some fun long swells out there. I'm loving the Spitfire and Skinny tail. Fast but able to slow it down when needed, carves real nice and great glide. Able to get on foil in light wind or maybe my pumping is improving. Glad I didn't get the 900, next size up.

Paul and I got an even better gybing day with flat water, lots of wind, occasionally gusty, but none of the usual Willows holes. Tropical conditions in a shorty wetsuit were to die for. More sine waves to make my math prof happy!

As I was getting into the water I could see some of the wingers sitting on their boards foreshadowing the dying wind. After a loooong body drag through the kelp on the Ross Bay side, I headed straight for Cook St as I could feel the wind softening up. Managed to get about 25mins in before it shut off and it was a mad dash into shore with 4 other kiters. Nice warm sunny day, always nice to get in the water, no complaints, except for all the gnarly kelp.

Wind dropped as I rigged and got suit on. A few foils in gusts but should have rigged 5. Wind turned almost straight offshore and I came in hundreds of metres from where I parked. Oh well time on tacuma 110 is well spent.

One perfectly powered run all the way out then it backed off. Plenty of gusts in close almost got me going. Had to put the weed fins back in. Big clumps of eel grass everywhere. Nice short session in the sun.
