Started on 4.0 in great conditions then the fog rolled in and brought 10 out of 5 suckudge factor. It felt like some one upwind was playing with the power switch. Waited for suckadge fucktor to decrease, but no luck. Had to change to warm cloth due to the close to hypothermic conditions - big mistake. If I had waited for another 15 min I could have sailed :evil: :evil:

Another bad luck day launched my kite at the sketchy launch off of buddys carabinher rope.The rope snaped and my kite went flying 40 feet into a tree :cry: .I finally got er out no tears relaunched off of a stump went out for a bit but under powered so i went back to camp :cry: .Over all a great weekend water levels should drop soon for a better launch awsome camping at bear creek and great people.Next time im bringing my truck with all my kites!!!Harrison kicks ass :!:

I got to Harrison around 2 wind was up :D .I launched at the small point at bear creek off of a branch on a stump haha sketchyiest launch ive ever done :shock: .I then went out for a few hours lit right up.I was about to come in but then went for a front roll crashed my kite and lost all the air out of the le.I then drifted/swimed in then climbed a cliff and bush wac ked up to the dirt rd overall a crazy day but lots of fun luv the fresh water!!!!not to cold and drinkable :D :D :D Ill go back to bear cree ... Sailed in close as that was where the wind was. Nice for a change. Over powered in the gusts. Been working on trying to throw some Winddoc style spray and jibing with both feet in the straps. Apparent sightings of a whale by the the beach gallery ended my session. I'm allergic to whales and hadn't taken my antihistamines.

Beautiful day out on the west coast. Surf started out nice and then turned a bit jumbled and sectional. Wind came up and there was optimism for a bit more wind but that never happened. Some good rides were had and only got crunched on the last ride in. Got one really nice ride on a 6 footer. The section I was not on closed out about 2 feet behind me. I was really happy about that. Despite the gusty onshore wind and mega chop it was somehow fun. A few nice ramps in close. Windy close to shore and light on the outside made for short reaches. The best part was watching Keen and Kus have a looping frenzy for the first hour. Keen showing total disregard for his body and doing some decent hucks on every reach :twisted: Fun times on the beach - thanks for the beer Kus and the beer bath BA...and cookies.

once again the Friday Westerly kicked in so I ditched work early (again) to get my fill. decided it was the day to try some forward loops for the first time. got past the mental barrier of getting hurled but far from actual delivery. my last attempt (of course) resulted in pulling some kind of back muscle that turns out to be rather important to mobility so I ended my session early in hopes of a speedy recovery. stoked to have another go at it! :D :twisted:

Surfed for a couple hours until cloud burnoff.Wind started to build,we rigged big,able to plane at times,but mostly out of the harness and slogging through the surf,great fun! The rides back were fabulous,mostly planing on the return, assisted by the waves. Back side rides with a few bob and weaves in the smaller waves. Highly recommend Eastside Wave Camp with the Orca Cruiser!

Some good swells, not real big but smooth. Very lifty near the shore.
The wind was also strongest right along the shore. Fine on the 10m Rise.

Once again, rippin' it up, cranking my jibes, lofting some big floaters, wishing I knew how to back loop as I skyed one after another straight up.

A really fun but crazy session launched at bear creek where i was camping.It was really sketch as the water is still high.Launched my kite off of a tree stump lit right up on my old 10 m c kite just me out ther.threw some back rolls then went for a front roll crashed the kite and lost the air in the le drifted/swimed to the nearest cliff then rock climbed/ bush wacked to the dirt rd.Overall a great time fresh water rules . :D

Nice sunny warm day....the wind could have been more. Spent the first hour trying to slog back up wind at least I didn't have to hitchhike. Good to be out but it looks like yesterday was the day. Had a talk with Jack the webcam host and it sounds like the neighbours are getting restless there have been complaints of driveways being blocked and in some cases windpeople parking in residents driveways. First session of the year! :D Watched Marty and Ian on their big kites from the cliff until the wind came up stronger around 7:00. Just as Todd predicted, it got great just before 7:30. Impressed to see Dwayne stay upwind on the 8m! Nothing special, just wonderful to get out and shake off the rust. A few small jumps just to remind myself how it's done.
Stoked for more of the same really soon.
