Nice session at Pipers, except for the wind hole near shore that was 0-25, depending on your luck. Upwind, downwind - as long as you stayed outside - things were fine. Team Pipers was present, as well as the sun & smiles. Sorry Ray, I didn't have enough time after work to make the drive in time for the best wind - at least Karen kept you company... :)

    Nice Saturday!

Hesitated too long this morn thinking it was too light. On the water by 9:30 to find lotsa power in the 5.4 and some nice swells to ride. Could have been on the 84 FSW but there were some holes next to the beach I didn't want to get stuck in. Much better day than last Wed as there was an extra 5 knts today. All in all a good session, shame about the turnout. Hope you guys had fun at Pipers! :D

Lots of wind way offshore but light on the inside. Slogged out to the wind and was a bit OP but got nervous being that far out so late in the day with clouds moving in, and decided to avoid a potentially long swim by slogging in. :(

Started trying kiteloops again  and even managed to ride away cleanly from 1 :P . Did have a bit of a bail and now I have a lump on my ribs... :? Looks broke... but only hurts 10% as much as a real break? Kept kiting anyways. Took out the mako surf and finally had some luck with it :P . Upwinding no prob and almost gybed 2 times. Still feels kinda loose, but im sure ill get used to it.

Nice to blow the cobwebs off the gear after Mexico. Wind was a bit up and down but a fun session. Some pockets of amazing swell coming through. Finally quit when my hands were too ice cream cold to do anything, but the wind was getting dirty by then anyway. Pogies go on the bar for the next session.

Turned out 4.7 on the outside but needed a bigger sail to comfortably get there, hauled max out of 5.8 & still OP outside the whole time :x :x Fun wave rides but nervous so far from shore. What a beautiful day. 18C in the sun for popping my G-spot cherry. Gusty on the inside, way OP on the outside with steadier wind. Followed Kus WAYYY out far once to the better wind, saw around the other side of sheringham, decided to stay a bit more on the inside, that's a long drift to seattle. In the harness super easy every time now, just need to nail that elusive back foot strap, damn swell didn't make it any easier. Thanks BWD for the fin and WDoc for setting my harness lines awesome-O.

By the time I was rigged and on the water, wind had backed off. Ok at first, puffy and teasing. Stayed out with the thought each puff was the wind finally locking in, pffffft. Anyways, nice sunny day with good friends and people on the beach..Waves were definately a teaser though. Maybe long beach would have been the better bet today.

The boys out at SP must have hit the water in the afternoon.... so much for the forecast of 25K all day. Took a while to start this morning and a bit off shore. Hit the water about 10 and pretty OP, then things settled down about an hour later for some more comfortable rides. Died down pretty fast around noon.

Finally nailed my first switch stance jibe :D Carved out of the first one, then blew the rest. At least I had a taste of success....

Once the evil skies lurking over the city reached the beach it rapidly shut down. I only had a short swim in. Not so for others. Saw DWD attempt some tweeked out Shuvit loop. BWD holding back on the loops. Sore nose? 2 in a row after work sessions. Can't complain.

:D Woo hoo that was a fun session, especially the first 1 1/2 hours when the swells were clean and steep for jumps. After that it got gusty with some holes and the waves were a bit messed up. The turnout was pretty good too.

Jellybean was stoked to do her first jibe on a wave and sailing seems to be helping her back recover. :o

Started off with a comfortable 20 knots, ended with around 30. I attempted to add some rotations to jumps and succeeded. Just need to learn how to pre-plan for a landing on super high jumps. Forward rotations are next. Rode the waves after the wind really picked up. Left when it started getting twitchy and couldn't feel hands anymore. (semi warm air, cold water) Sunny!

Rigged small today and it worked out much better. Some fun jumping and riding but really scary wind. No power, then screaming downwind

One gust hit and I must have gone 100m downwind before I could hold and edge again.

Another 5 knots and the windsurfers would have been having way more fun. Thanks to windsurfish for the lend of the mast base.....too many totes in the trunk...but one less than there should have been.

Some slogging but mostly powered enough to stay in the straps for me with the odd jump and wave ride. Sunny and almost warm :D Will try later for the evening session.
