Meh-o-rama. Slog, plane, swish on a wavelet, but mostly just under - powered, except in the gusts. Perhaps a PM session will work. Eastside out on the "blue" board (120L) with same sail giving it his all, and Bean maintaining lots of water contact and a smile through it all.

 8) Nice mellow session. Hard to get off the beach, but better outside, a little OP sometimes but not bad. Made 2 nice planing jibes, a few more dry ones  Started out just me and a bunch of kites, then a lull had everyone on the beach, then it picked up again and it was just windsurfers. I ran out of blood sugar or I'd have stayed out longer. Loosing one contact also made it sketchy. Nanmoo doing great, fantastic progress for someone who started at New Years!

Overpowered on the gusts, under on the lulls. A learning experience indeed. Still managed to get strapped and hooked once or twice before eating it. Got chucked plenty though. No wind on the beach, huge slog out and in.

Saw everyone gathering on the beach and figured that was the sign to head in. Good call. Super glad I didn't have a long swim in like one member of the posse.

:D Arrived at 2:30 to find a small group sailing waaay offshore where it was quite windy but it was very light inside. Didn't feel like doing a long slog so I waited till around 4 pm when it finally moved in. Still a bit light close in so I stayed outside most of the time maxed out on the 4.7. The swell wasn't great for jumps but there were smooth rollers to ride. It seemed windier out there than Sher. indicated.

It was pleasantly warm in the rigging area too. 8)

    Summer is here....

25ish foot boat off cook street didnt look like they were having as much fun as wind addicts. Coast guard was there to the rescue though.

Wicked session far off the shore: Perfectly powered, very smooth, and hardly gusty wind at all. Wind died around 1:30.

Returned after a quick lunch and couldnt find the courage to launch off that beach after my scare last session. Temperature climbed dramatically after the fog burned off and the wind picked up with a Northern touch.

    Might be ... (more)

Caught a few minutes of tail end waves, then Lo Tide waves sucked (including taking a 1/4" off my nicest fin :x ) but still had some fun up at the river. KSD was contagiously stoked  Got a few backies in but none close ...again as ramps just weren't there. No forward tendencies today  Pain forced me off the water early, what a drag. The latecomers missed out as wind died at 3, bummer

K I think I am becomin a convert....not workin just playin has been reallllly fun, not missin days like yesterday and today is just plain sweet. All in all a great day, comfortably lit on the 10 carvin hard and lettin a few beefy jumps go of the ramps. Again marvelling at the new harness, very comfortable and the freedom of movement for me (a bigger guy) liberating, especially with a drysuit on, cant wait to shed the layers. THANK YOU girl for the Natchos and warm environment I really enjoyed the after s ... (more)

Garbage :x :x :x The massive drop in the wind at both Entrance and Ballenas after 1:00 tells the whole story. Hit the water when things still looked good, able to pump and plane for the first hour, then things degenerated further, started getting hard to waterstart, and didn't have an uphaul on the rig.... nice.
