The North wind screwed up the wind direction and I had holes most of the day. The Desiccated Mummies were on their three sevens and four sevens and Im on my 5.0/94 getting frustrated every time I slashed something and stalled out missing the train. Got some swells around 330 for an hour. Wasnt what I expected today :(

Sail 5 wave 8 jump 2 freaking hot again! Cooler night. Folo put in 5 hrs :)

Good for the first 30 with Junky. Tried out Shaggy's HM mast. Love it! Then it slowly got lighter. Had to paddle in the final 100m. Hung out and then put on the 1010 for a try. That worked for a bit. Pumped until I was spent. Beach for a corona with Tuna.

Looked ok when tweezer and I went out hoping it was building, good for half an hour or so until it dropped right off as it has all week. Schlogg and swim in. Nice to meet Mitch and Aleah?? I think (probably have that wrong), She gave it a go on the wing and did quite well for no wind.

First runs with the new foil. More efficient to pump as it is so slippery compared to the non streamlined slingshot. Found I was at least 39. cm further back compared to the old foil. First time the wind held long enough to get a jibe in I had a good hard crash. Will take time to get used to it and the track needs to move foreword. 700 m drive of shame to end session.

Poor wind session at Willows. Just a handful of decent foiling runs. A multitude of heavy pumping to get up on foil, followed by a myriad of pumping to maintain lift in the teaser winds. The tropical shorty weather and beer reward at the end were the highlights. Shared the pain with DocG and Greg. Hoping for a better Sunday. Those who stayed at home were wise.

Had a lovely light wind session in a very southerly wind. Just me sailing the point for my whole session. The wind was such that I could make a long tack from Clover to Fonyo Beach and back. That was cool. The 14.5 A-Series is a fabulous kite in the light wind with plenty of smooth power. I had a hard time with foot changes today because of the very bumpy ebbing tide water but other than that it was fantastic.

Windy. Leisurely breakfast at Tucker Park and then off for a look-see at Viento. Chatter on the beach was it was gusty and shifty like yesterday. Off to Waterfront Park. It was cranking on arrival. Easy decision to rig the smallest gear we had (3.4/74 for me). Once on the water my new-to-me high wind board was still giving me some control issues so I stayed below the White Salmon bridge with the others sailed up toward the Hatchery. Very light wind startwith me and Mike out on Axis 1150 and 1300. Easily on foil in 8-10 knotts but had the wrong rear wing on so it was tohard to gibe. Grabbed the 1050 and was perfect for the conditons. About 75% for gibes. A few more sessions and I'll start working on my tacks.

I was really happy to be able to windsurf my last day but that was stupid windy. When I finally returned to the beach Dave asked me if I'd had fun. A big no! I described it as sailing the outside of the Cape for 2 hours. It was great to see everyone at Waterfront park, it was like a windsurf reunion, so crowded but what a nice spot. Back home now and suffering from the post Oregon Coast blues.
