    Sunny, fairly warm.

Started on the 8, but it dropped.

Came back in to change, and richard and ross were there to do some product testing.

I chose the 11, should have gone with the 14.

But I was still able to have fun for a while till it dropped.

OR new 07 kite's looks pretty sweet, and the boards I saw whoa..

They were so interesting looking I would have [b:c97e26706a]loved[/b:c97e26706a] to have tried them.

There was one, I was eyeing. They jokingly called it the outlaw's return, because they haven' ... (more)

Waited for a while on the beach, till inbetween what the news called wind bomb's. Me, and the two grants went out.

After navigating the log boom as the tide was very high by then tossing around all the logs on the beach, and the ones comming in.

It wasn't easy getting past the shore break. (for me)

Shortly after another one of the bombs went off.

The Grants went down and took shelter in the bay downwind.

I arrived at Willows at about 10 am,sailed with Morley and Mark ,had two lovely 40 to zero catapultsafter striking secret logsbits which is good because if you can take that whipping and survive ,then performing loops should be easy,All in all a great session ,nice waves went haywire about an hour later but got back my stoke after 2monthsno sailing

Hmm, have to go in and add the 3.5 sail to my toybox. WOW!!!! Mostly getting trashed in shorebreak or swimming, but the sailing bits were awesome. Had my first really proper backside rides, what a blast! Gusts were ripping the sail out of my hands trying to waterstart. Art and Mark on 3.6's "stupidly overpowered" at times as Art said.

No Kus around to kill the wind this time

LIT up on the 4.2 with MW and BWD at first. Mostly overpowered at first trying to stay on the surface. Biggest swell I've played in at IV to date, but my riding and forwards felt wonky. MW hucked some nice ones! Grant W and Grant M showed as the SE waned a bit. After I left it jacked up again to fairly "breezy" conditions. Damn work! I'm not finished playing! CB looks insane on the cam!

Nice pre-work session with Morewind and Winddoc. Started off with comfortable 4.0-4.5, then it got a little crazy with 35kt gusts for an hour. Big waves on the outer sandbar, but they were mostly dumpy. Got taken out by a bad inside jibe and gear got carried way down the beach. Took a while to get back and killed most of my energy. Got eaten a bunch of times by the dumping sets on the sandbar...good fun. Morewind and Winddoc hucking some nice ones. Good to see GrantW out windboarding. Too tired to work now ... (more)

:D :D Oh yeah :!: Another pre-work fix of intense backside wave sailing. Nice timing :D Lowish tide made for reasonable beach break. Middles had some decent waves which I saw at close range a couple of times (got munched and spit out). Sasquatch sized swell on the outside. Hucked a couple of decent loops when the wind backed off, but still having sail-away difficulties. WindDoc hucking hard  . Lower attendance today. BWD, Winddoc, GrantW. So the storm didn't really materialize. Seemed to be building, looked great upwind..... Rigged, slogged, slogged/planed, walked (add repeat the process) until wind died = swim in. Some days are better than others. Shoulda brought the surfboard for the beautiful waves on the sand bar. At least it wasn't raining during the session :?:

A good way to start the day. The wind was a bit up and down and the seas were a little confused, but it was a lot of fun. Big swell, easy shorebreak at first then it turned a bit ugly when the logs showed up at high tide.

Looked for TheLaws contact lens for about an hour with Winddoc, but we're sad to say we could not find it...was your phone # on it?

Dawn patrol success! Wind was a solid 30 at first then became very shifty/gusty. Sailed the 4.2 for the 1st time and it was nice in the big puffs, but as the wind backed off I struggled to stay upwind and did 2 WOS. Lots of eelgrass, kelp, and logs. The rest of the windsurfing crew left except for Dave and I and the wind filled back in a bit. Rigged a 4.7 with better luck. Tried a bunch of different types of forward loops; learning lots. Got one great smack on a swell-lip (oops I mean wave). Stoked. More.
