:D Bolted for Gordo's as soon as I saw the press. grad. start to move up fast. Almost rigged the 4.7 right away but due to light wind inside went with the 5.6. Turned out to be solid 4.7 wind beyond 1/4 mile out, with nice smooth waist to shoulder high swells for the first 40 min. or so, then quickly went flatter with chop everywhere. Great jumping conditions at first. :)

Awesome day got my first clew first waterstarst ,great swell from the beach down to the river mouth. Was overpowered to nicely powered up on the 5.0 all day!!! One of the best Nitnat days I've had...one of the best days I've had. Could have been on the 4.5 for most of the day but I just could not sacrifice any of that great wind to rigging. Frustrating day today, wanted to watch events, but also
wanted to ride.
I ended up riding all day, and not seeing any events.
underpowered.
Until the end of the day.
Then just as I was comming in from the last run.
My dry kite snagged the only little branch sticking
out of the water at the edge.
That resulted in an hour long line mess to undo before
walking back to the truck.
Took me about an hour or two driving home to recognize
I'd had fun.
But I did.

On the water by 11:30 with Windoc. It was the classic early blow that kicks up swell...only lasted for about 30 minutes. Trying to get the shuvit progression going again today. Had one shuvit into a vulcan...the shuvit was planned but the vulan was not...at least Windoc saw it...oh ya I completly ejected myself upon landing! Sailed from the end of the lake up to the upper river mouth. Fun day!

1st time on the 14m Bronco. Had the help of G Mac in the AM to set up the 5th line and launch later in the eve (Thanks!!). It was fairly windy for my experience level (kook) on this kite but I tried to slow everything down to keep it safe. Good launch, no hangups. Mouth dry and pasty with fear. A nice sunny light wind day at the lake with lots of familiar faces. Tried to work the freestyle - didn't succeed. I did sail away from my first carving 360 today and did another half-dozen 90 degree vulcan attempts. Pondered the vulcan problem on the drive home and I think my problem is that I'm assuming I'm going to wipeout so i position myself to make the crash easy. Gotta fix that!

OMG what a day, silky smooth, the guys convinced me to try a kiteloop, umm, got worked trying it with my 16, but boy what a rush, tried it with the 12 and still was disorientated as I was flying through the air, but again, what a rush. The day was just plain solid wind, couldn't have asked for better as a kiter
