An incredible day on the lake. Probably one of the windiest days I've had there. I was in the footstraps, most of the time, and even tried to steer up and down the faces of the waves. And did my first (accidental) jump. What fun!! And even more catapults. Tried John's 111 and loved it.

Very warm temps and warm water but lame wind except for the odd gust- too bad. We were going to stay one more day but the forecast wasn't looking too promising so we all decided to make a run for the Coho ferry. Chris and I got caught in several traffic slow-downs on the I-5 and arrived 10 min. before the boat was supposed to leave, thinking we would be spending the night there, but by a stroke of luck we were the last ones on! :D

What a day! I was feeling very dialed in for the first couple of tacks, until a huge catapult put a couple nasty cracks in my board. :cry: AGAIN. And...right through the carbon from my last repair job. I suppose I shoulda put on that nose protector after all. Oh well. Sailed in cold fog today and was glad I had my drysuit with me. Light wind near shore that got better a ways out. Kind of freaky sailing in fog in an unfamiliar place and not being able to see land most of the time. I was the last one off the water and then we quickly loaded up and left for the Gorge and sunny, hot weather and warm water. See you next year Flo, I hope.

The swell was pretty north which made down wind better...headed down into the fog to check things out. Pretty big rides for a few turns and one huge jump that I had to pull the shoot on. Pretty fun for the first couple of hours and then things turned flat. Big forwards from the doc as usual and BWD causing some hate on his boom. Lost RD in the fog and the buddy system broke down with Wingnut.

The flattest day I've ever sailed on the coast. Small waves close to the jetty, up to head high far downwind. Had some hate at the start and tried some loops. One ended badly....too high and not sheeted in enough and landed on the boom and felt like I broke my hand. Seems ok now tho. Winddoc throwing lots of nice forwards. Very mellow day, still fun tho. Day 15.

Got to Nat late, rigged the 4.5, didn't have small board so held on over the bumps. Made all my gybes the far side, but none planed out of. Went out for a 'golden hour' session at about 6:30, I think I was the only one on the water, still planing with a 4.5.
