Day 5: Hangover day....One word - stupid. Too damn windy even with a flat 4.0. Slept most of the day trying to get rid of the stupid hangover. Sailed in the fog for barely 30 minutes - nice waves but too damn windy. Almost impossible to carry the gear back in the wind. Getting a little tired of the blowing sand...might not last more than a few more days on the jetty.

Sailed almost everything I own today due to gusty up and down conditions. Did a few more jumps landing some of them. Getting more jibes on the little board. It's going to be hard to match yesterdays' amazing conditions and the thrill that has lasted from it! I'm not sure if life will ever be the same ........now I want more waves ....please!!!! Enjoying my self-indulgent ME time up here.

Fun to be on 10m, fun swell rides inside the point. Weird day- close calls with kite crashes around. Almost got hit by crashing kite extreme crazy eric. brutal chop, gusty. Tried some front spins, back slams seemed to adjust back just right from previous sesh. Smoothed out around 730, sailed with the professor for a few sweet runs and buttery slashes.

:D Fun in the fog! Arrived to find everyone standing around on shore as the wind had recently backed off - not what I was expecting from the lighthouse reports. But after 4:30 it suddenly came up again and we were off to the races. This was one of the better days for jumps this year and some smooth rollers for rides as well, and for a change the wind was close to shore making it easy to get out. Some more of that would be nice. :D

Might have been the smooth rolling swell, or maybe the great company on the water, or maybe it was the perfect "loop zone" that setup on the outside  Nailed a couple of forwards landing board first instead of backsplat first, felt much better :D :D Not sure what was up with the TheLaw - he seemed to be hating the swell as he was slashin' it up at every opportunity. Everytime I saw Mark his RRD see ... Wasn't sure if it would blow, but it looked like the fog was pushing closer, so Dunkingirl and I packed up and were on the water about 2pm. I rigged 4.7 and she was on the 3.7. Here is how windy it was: I took Nicoles rig for a spin to check her harness lines, and I was totally powered up on her 3.7 and the AHD MAx 60! We were both having a great day. I was sticking my forwards and she was sticking spock 540's with a twist of lemon. After a while she asked me to go out and throw some hate her way. He ... (more)

Fantastic day. From noon on a 5.3 --> 6.0 --> 5.3 then at 3pm it cranked up hard. Fortunately I had rigged a 4.4 Revo just so it could see the outside of the sail bag. Spent three hours totally lit up on a 4.4 (and I'm 205 lbs). aT 7:30 PM IT WAS STIL BLOWING 4.0 through the middle of the lake. Dozens of jumps and a few crashes. Unreal day!
