After watching others have fun on the cook cam, finally got out on the water @ 6 and had a couple of great hours. Wind was lifty and strong at first, a little milder later. But good quality and lots of fun. Kind Erik was going CRAZY! Nice to have quality wind along with the sun. :D

Crowded: 8 kites & a few w-surfers. A few new faces trying to launch kites. It would be a good idea to get together with a launch strategy. Too sketchy on the beach to assist but tried to convince 1 new face to self launch perp. to the flag. !!! Glad you got out & had a session dewd. 2nd 'ONE' session was the perfect call for squally conditions...Good times.

A nice sunny summer day at Gordon's. Fun session with 8 kites out.

Wind was a bit gusty but the weather and friends made up for any shortcomings!

Marion likes the yellow/red one kite, Ross!

Jl out on his new 12m One, "looking good Jim"!

Johnny R out on his 13m Ozone, nice smooth flying kite, Johnny!

The windsurfers were throwing freestyle moves that I don't even know the names of! I used to think that I was a reasonably accomplished windsurfer...yeah right.

Was out with JL and Joe today. I could stay up and riding if I kite looped directly in the power zone. But as soon as I pointed anyway but right downwind, the kite would end up at the edge and me with no power.

    Had fun though.

Started at CB for a quick and fun session while snapper and bean watched from the waterline. Very light 12-15 knots. The new board has better low end, excellent low end. Moved to San pariel where the low tide is all sandy. Rigged up and the wind jacked up to 20. I was holding down a 14 and snapper a 16. We came off the water after a good time slashing in the swell further offshore. Nice session after 3 weeks+ off.

:? :? :? :? Well, after 2 hours of slogging around with the odd short plane, it began to pick up. Nice formula session, followed by a 7.5 session of pulsed strength. Wind Woman & Reckless Rick were packed up, but re-rigged to get out, then un-rigged in a lull, which was followed by ~20kn just after 5pm. I sailed for a few reaches way overpowered until the body said 'no more'. A productive light wind day, with better jibes on the 111 than in the past. :D

Little slashing possible w/ wind this light, when it did come up at times to ~22+ the baggy sail was a hand(arm)ful. nice one. Good sailing with Pete, Art, Rick and Mike!

Tried 3 times my latest obsession, still no complete rotation, but #2 was more than 180. Getting there! :) The rest of the session was just crazy mogul with occasional back side rides.

Packed up the gear at 2:30 and was ready to leave when it filled in a bit. Re-rigged and sailed for about an hour. Worked on the geckos with Winddoc :? . The wind teased us all day and never really filled in until after 5pm.

Fun three days at the lake - lightish winds but at least there were no crowds.

After embarassing leaving wetsuit behind on a Gordon's attempt (perfect 4.5 conditions) I burned up more points and had a short Cook session. Once planing it was nicely powered, but kinda hard to get there. Figured out pumping the fin. Kus doing some nice waverides on the swell as I packed up.
