Another great day. Slightly less juice than the day before, but Essentially a 5.0 day (2 hrs on the 99 shift, 4 hrs on the 111 carve). I also took the go out for a quick rip upwind at the end to look at the fog in greater detail.... :) :) :)

Classic Nitinat day. On the water at 11:30am and off at 6:30pm with a couple of short beer breaks. Spent an hour and a half really overpowered on the 6.2 and Kombat when the wind cranked up at about 4:30. Practising jumps and carve jibes. Fun^n where n is a large number!

Great day powered on 5.0 and sailing small board. Was still blowing 5.0 when we pulled out at 6. Planing gybes much harder this gear/condition! One very close (exit fast slog, only 1 or 2 secs to planing), lots just thankful to stay dry. Great day trip with W247 and MonkeyManMike.

Sat around waiting for the wind. Came up to 18kt on the outside for 1/2 hr or so. Wind dropped, most people left. Fog came in and so did the wind and swell. The RRD was finally hucking some sweet loops, unfortunately I wasn't on it at the time.

After a late start due to some quality sauna time the night before, hit the 5.2 right off the bat. Started off gusty but soon filled in. Good end to the perfect week. Met a tonne of great people along the way. Now if it wasn't for these f$#@&%g ferries! Got off the water at 3:30pm and I'm crawling into bed at 2:00am. There's something very wrong with this.

Waited for the wind to pick up, had a couple false starts, then it finally came up. Egged BWD on to try the Naish during the last session while I rode his RRD. I think I had a bit too much fun on Dave's board. Sorry Dave, I couldn't help myself  . I promise, none of my landings were very hard. Fun to finally sail with Tom again in the swell and see him ripping. Mike was hucking some nice loops in the fog.

Got there when it was filling in but we were waiting for it to get better and ended up launching after the bubble formed. Powered on the outside till it started to drop off. We all came in and watched it get lighter and lighter. I thought that was it (like yesterday) so I packed up - soon after, it filled in again outside so Chris, Dave, Mike and Tom had a nice late session.

    Classic 5.0 Nitinat :D :D :D

Drove up with MF4 and MMMike. Arrived about 11:00 and it was already blowing. Rigged the 5.4 and was comfortably powered up right away. Once it filled in a bit more, I was fully lit but not overpowered. I sailed the 5.4 all day. Spent a lot of time sailing between Knob Point and the island. Worked on jibe after jibe. Some OK ramps but it seemed pretty flat compared to the ocean. :? Still nice to rip in the WARM water. Lots of jellies

    I'll be sore tomorrow!

At the top mark it was blowing 25kts....Lots of carnage on the racecourse. Sailed another 5 races today. Didn't do as well as Tuesday but still managed to stay under 30th most of the races. Needed a bigger sail today. Should have had the 10.0m rigged. Lots of fun anyways!! Taco Del Mar burrito's RULE!! :D :D

Perfect Nitinat day. Fog machine kicking. Could have gone 4.7 but it's much nicer sailing powered up. Hit the island in the first session. Nice ramps off the river

:D Most fun day of the season for me at GB. Crap wind on the inside but mega wind outside. Great day for jumps and fun for rides on port. Later on the fog moved closer to shore and brought the wind in with it. All the usual suspects were there. 8)
