    Columbia was on!

The swell was great for riding/jumping. I got my first frontside aerial. Stoked! Threw a few backloops and landed flat and loud on one . BWD and Dunkinguy were ripping it up. No booties today!!

    This is a magic beach.

Sweet session. Big swell and nicely powered up down the line runs. Great ramps. Could have been on the 4.0 from 5-6pm no prob. I love Columbia Beach!

Quatro seems a bit heavier the last few sessions...

Kited 3:30-6:30 on the Wipika Hydro 7 (9m flat). I'm starting to get some faith in small kites, finally :D . Kite was close to dialled in. Could've rigged 3" looser on the rear lines for more depower. Fun jumps and surprising hang time for a small kite. Hands stayed pretty warm, air wasn't too bad. Memorable :D

Very easy to to enter, and exit afterwards; toasty warm (and kept my hands warm too...that usually doesn't happen for me). Waiting for the temps to drop a bit more...BRING IT ON! :D :D :D

Nasty hole near shore tough to get out of, a few nasty words were likely heard near shore, finally died off one time too many

the most wind I have ever seen with total cross chop, what a mess, didn't think it possible when it's this windy...

Did long runs down to Sidney and up to bottom end of James Island. Too much fun. Wish others were there to share the good times. Lots of downhaul on the Ezzy works well to spill the big gusts! Had trouble getting going early this am due to bad cold and got to IV just as the wind died. Waited 1 1/2 hrs. then went back to town. Went back at 3 pm when I saw wind beyond Baynes Channel. Caught the last 1/2 hr. of sailable wind. First time I've ever been to IV twice in one day - A personal best! Woo-hoo.

sweet and short outing. rigged with the first glow of the day, got on the water just before 7:30am. BWD out shortly after. low tide created some nice smooth swell and kept the break at bay. Sailed non-stop for 1 hr. then, had to quickly pack up and head to work - made my 9am meeting with wet, salty hair. good fortune to work on Keating for SE dawn patrols...

Started work at 6:30am so I could sneak out at noon. It was worth it. Lots of chop and gggusty but nice swell at times. Tried a 3 back loopies, heli's, hoss, but mostly bumpy jumpy. Wore booties for the first time in 6 months

Arrived 5 PM, rigged, waited for wind in the shorebreak. FInally it came up enough to do a few powered runs and a couple mostly schlogging, managed to balance the little board 1st time. Russkie and I went out for a sunset sail when the wind came up again. Derigged by moonlight!

Got on the water just before 3pm. A bit gusty, well a lot gusty. The odd good wave. A couple of helis, 360s, tacks. Not up to trying new stuff today. Toasty warm in the new 6mm Xcel.

SWEEEEET 5 oh! Way gusty but a total blast. Best table-top attempt yet. Another header into my boom left me with a fat lip.
