Stopped by Willows on my way to IV and found the wind was coming up nicely, so I decided to stay and save myself the drive. Very gusty/holey first 1/2 hr. then came in fairly solid but unfortunately straight onshore. Once you got away from the beach it was pretty solid with the odd lull. The bigger swells near Cattle Pt. were shoulder high at times. The rain started to come down hard just as I was finishing derigging. Cold air today but I was nice and toasty in my drysuit. :) Judging by Winddoc's log I think I made the right choice today.
