Unfortunately we just missed it.....it was blowing 13-15 when we got to the beach and I knew it was windy downtown so I rigged the smaller 8.5m expecting it to pick up. We watched 3-4 guys sailing powered up as we rigged...funny thing was they came in as we were going out....shoulda asked why....stupid!! Got out and didn't get up on a plane once...pumped lots and lots but just wasn't quite enough. SO FLIPPIN CLOSE!! I shoulda rigged the 10.0m and Morley coulda used the 8.5m. Oh well..it was beautiful schloggin in the warm sunshine with the Olympics and Baker in the background!! Sailing at Sunset was nice too. Played around lots trying some tricks....guess what....I'm not soooooo tricky!! I'm going to stick to the racing and speed thing!! Maybe some more tomorrow afternoon!!
