Not much TOW, but WOW :!: what a day even to watch! Learned a lot that way. I got worked in shorebreak 3 times near stairs, peak HR 177. very lucky not to break mast/booms/sail/board, almost chickened out of going out at all. Walked rig up the beach to the point, it was building all the time, so some of the waves there ended up almost as big there as they had been at the stairs. Longer flats between though and fewer reefs lurking :shock: Outhaul slipped on my first run out, kinda OP till I got back to shore. Had to wait out the biggest gusts on the beach. Saw Chris huck one huge forward, pretty much end-over-end-mast-straight-down. BWD looked like his pics from Oregon coast. Tom did some huge jumps. I know I should be spending more time on/in the water, but I'm so beat from survival sailing I need to rest up between!
