it was a rough start - rigged the 5.0, went out & back add more downhaul out and back, rigged 4.2, out and back, add more downhaul, out and back, switch to smaller fin... ok that'll do!
pretty much survival mode for me today, paul and gene were slaying it. I was blowing my outside jibes just so i could rest - then the waves started breaking on the outside too. nowhere to hide! :shock: got rolled with gear 2x over by a macker that must have got lost on its way to JR.
went full circle on a back loop first time today, felt awesome! floated down to a nice tail first landing then lost the sail, dang! i couldnt sheet in to sail so no way was i going to sheet in for forwards! anyway great time, no damage done, training for maui continues... :twisted:
