Another amazing Formula sail launching from Bazan Bay. Arrived at 9:30am, blowing 10-12kts thought great!! rigged up and on the water by 9:45am...now it's blowing 12-15....perfect! Two beautiful woman walked by and I jumped up and planed right away....downwind run all the way to the peir in Sidney...probably the fastest I've gone on my FE board as I'm guessing I was showing off a bit.....wish I'd have brought the GPS....next time!! Sailboat race just about to start so I cruized by a mach 2 :twisted: and gave a little wave to some of them and just smiled!! They left and headed North so I ripped over to Sidney spit then back to the cafe at the bottome end of Beacon Ave. then a few more reaches over towards the spit and back then just before starting to head back to the launch... :shock: SNAP :shock: :!: :!: harness line broken....aghh!!! Good thing it was on the Starboard tack side so I hooked in on the good one and got the the Anacortes ferry terminal and then headed off to N. end of James Island for about a minute of rubber arm hanging on and then tacked and hooked back in all the way back to the launch....NICE, made it back with both arms still attached. Wonderful session except for the extended arms on the way home....HA! Sail 9, Jump 0...probably 12-15 most of the time with gusts near 18.....[b:5c67152017]super session[/b:5c67152017]!!! :D
