What a long and fun? filled day. Started out almost not making it out when a tree blocked the road. Then got out to JR to see gusty onshore wind with small wind swell. Waiting around until about 2 then the real sets finally started to show up and the wind clocked more sideshore. Should have rigged the 3.5, cause the 4.0 was a handful. Couldn't do much on the outside, and the wave rides were super powered up. Highlight was one juiced up down the line run with a couple of fun smacks. Saw Dunkinguy rotate into a huge backloop. Graham and Robby ripping.
More trees on the way home and got stuck for 2.5hrs. Saw Phattbuddha do a naked run by :shock:
Overall not as good as last March, a bit too windy and a little onshore, but still fun.
