A twelve hour adventure chasing the weather bomb to the not so secret spot with the LAW. We hit it quite early to try and avoid the menacing winds of the early afternoon. Avoided tree fall on the drive out. Arrived to an empty lot except for the crazy dog guy who was "stuck man." Waves were tiny and the wind was bang on shore blowing at least 25-30. The boys eeventually started showing up. Graham, Fishwick the LAw and and Vandal tested it out. Kind of looked like sloppy Island View. I opted to wait. The wind never did clock full west but it did pump up. Waves came up too. Highlights- Robby shooting the pier(the point) then doing a barrel roll into 2 ft. of water at the point, BWDs 4turn ride into upper sewers, I had a couple big back-side aerial smacks followed by a rinse cycle and finally the epic 2 hr. wait for that very dangerous powerline situation to be resolved. Oh and of course Phatbuddas naked streak through the line up of vehicles.
