Wingnut and I were awarded big time for our patience. Got there at 2:30 and it looked marginal. As we waited it got even more marginal and a big bubble formed near shore and it started to blow SE :oops: . At 4pm the bubble burst and it filled right into shore. Took the big gear out (5.0/RRD) and it was great, but mostly overpowered. Sailed like that for an hour or so then it really came on. Rigged the small stuff then it dropped. Went back out on the big stuff, then it picked up. Then for the last hour it was 4.5 with big smooth swell....fantastic.
