:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Out with Rick and Pat in the Windmobile, headed for Gordons, the Sooke Basin looked windy so we decided to try it out. Up and down and gusty, but FUN flatwater blasting. Went from slogging or even falling in with NOTHING, to way, way OP on superflat 5.8, turning downwind and hanging in harness and going like lightning, and still starting to tailwalk, scary but FUN. Never would have managed to sail the 5.8 if it was lumpy. Made a couple of planing gybes a bunch of meh ones. Big board was doing weird out-of-the-water endo flips and burying the sail trying to swim into position to waterstart in big gusts. LUXURY taking off wetsuit in hot shower afterwards - TX Windwoman and Wreckless!
