GM IS GOD :!: AC & myself stumbled into good fortune, almost stopped at Gordo's :oops: Art & Tom also out to play, Tom musta put in 5 hrs :shock: Waves huge (to me anyway) early, dropped then came back. Some big gybe drop-ins, blinding whitewater spray, no wind behind big ones & even some backdrafts made things interesting to say the least :twisted: Almost donated gear again a few times. Biggggg Rides & Airs in the sun 8)

On way back ~6:30, we heard Sooke Bridge was out and dropped in on M&M's to check in and do a few runs at Gordo's....nobody home, musta been stuck on the other side. This caused us to have dinner elsewhere (twas time anyways) & also pounded numerous beers which went down well. Note to self: don't leave bars at the same time w/ AC to avoid getting arrested :roll: As we headed back at ~9:30 the traffic was JUST starting to move, thank God we were on the Sooke side, the Langford side was a parking lot up to and including 17Mile Pub (strange that... :wink: ). We hardly skipped a beat, too bad Grant quit early to go home....a sacrific in the name of love, aawwwwhhh ...ouch :oops: BTW thx for retrieving my helmet from the Strait, Grant :!:
