Tuesday. Caught the 6:30am from Horseshoe Bay right behind Roger Dee with his new Chalet Camper. Arrived at the lake at 10:30am. The wind was already up. Set up the tent. Rigged a 6.2 and 5.3 and hit the water at 12:30. At 1:00 I grabbed the Kombat 95 and 5.3 and was fully powered (46 kph!). Lots of wind. Like August! Getting hate from my elbow - more Ibupropen - can still feel the hate! Stayed on the 5.3 for 2.5 hours! Fantastic! Water is warm. No crap on the beach. Only 4 groups camping. Me, Roger, new friends Laurie and Donna from Whistler, and a kiter at the loop. VERY quiet.
