novelty log. Rode my first Gorge easterly with my friend the-planing-mennonite, Eugene. Planed once :( lots of backwind practice, helis, and uphauling. the wind died and the true fun began at the Blues festival that was going on nextdoor. 5 micro-brew beers on tap and live Blues at a grassy riverside park. Rockin' band - Rose City Kings - recommended. headed to HR to meet up with Doods at rental house. Brother-of-the-law cooked BBQ'd some mean burgs. all headed out for the evening stroll -- turned into a full-on Scorpion bowl, horsefeathers, store opening (free booze) bing. A total blast. :D Met Mike of Mike's ice cream. Cool dude.
