Crazy first Oregon Coast sesssion. Huge(for me) waves, cold water, lots O wind. Rigged up and saw MW and The Law and gang as I was heading down to the beach with my sail. Waited on the beach for 15 mins while I got up the guts to go out. Sailed out without getting pounded in the shorebreak then looked back and all of a sudden I was waaaaay out and thought better get back. Fell on my jibe and had trouble waterstarting. Finally made it not quite worried yet.....HA!. Back towards shore going Mach 3 coming down the front of the waves...not real wave riding but blasting over huge swell!! Rode basically right up to the beach jumped off and got knocked over by the end of a wave, grabbed gear and ran. Good first session. No damage to myself or the new gear! Too Much Fun! :D :D
