First time at the lake! Finally.
Took my kid, he launched me. Did a good job to.
I launched in the river mouth, did a few runs.
Mostly screaming downwind!!!
Wrong board choice. I wasn't thinking... I just chose the one I always ride
I even had a much better one for the conditions with me, but... oh well.
Next time!
Dumped the kite a few times, but the relaunch is
instantanious. Ended the session all the way down around the corner,
in the windshadow. Where the docks and boats are.
There were lots of children on the docks. When they saw I was headed towards them after I rolled up the lines, got to the kite and started to swim
the 50 meters to the docks. They all jumped in and surrounded me
asking my name, telling me theirs. One small boy swam right up to me
and asked if my mouth was dry? A little confused.. I said no?
He then told me,(with a chewing mouth full) he had gum and if I wanted some he would give me some. I said No thank you.
I walked back up the beach, and got back to my kid who didn't know I was going to go so far downwind. (wups, I forgot to tell him)
Waiting patiantly but ready to go. So that was that!
I will definatly be back soon, and be a regular.
