Waffled around most of day hoping for sailable wind before heading home. Had everything packed except largest sail and board while Windfish glided around for hours on a gigantic monofilm wing! Finally admitted defeat and packed sail, removed fin from board and took one last look at the beach......sure enough the wind was steadily building. Ran back rerigged and sailed for the next hour in marginal winds. Packed up again and just as we left around 5:30ish the lake was whipped up into the perfect playground for my little board.....blowing over 20 knots. Hope everyone else had fun!! Silly Sport! Funny thing.......Wreckless Rick was reported to be sailing Gordon's about the same time........could have sworn he was with me. Strange!! I'll have to be more careful next time!?
