Got out on the water by 10am on the 10.0m, only one other kiter dude out that early. fully powered on one run then BANG! My boom broke. Limped back in with the good boom arm put away the 10.0m and grabbed the 8.5m and zipped up the lake and back. Did some speed runs on the BIG GEAR when the wind picked up to 18-20kts. Make 49.2km/h which was like being airborne the whole time.....felt sooo much faster than sailing same speed on small gear...YAHOOO! Sailed till Noon:30 and then packed up and went home as I was super tired!(yes it's true, I get tired!).
