Unbeleivable spot. The Locals(at least 20) are really friendly. They are happy to let you do a 2 mile downwinder with them and then give you a ride back to the starting point along the beach. The wind is very side on shore, so it is down the line the whole way. The wind hardly stopped blowing ans was kitable(12-15 knots at 8am and usually good to sundown) Floras lake is a flatwater alternative to the waves, with most of the kiting from 10-50foot from the windward shore. One does have to ask the question-Why the lake when the Ocean kiting is so good. A great place for the family, the flatwater sailer and the ocean kiter.
