Winds light but waves mega huge, 5-8' swell, break 5-6', not enough wind to outrun the washing machine, humbling :x Caught some nice waves out, only made it past the break twice, then shorebreak lessons, what a blast :P helmet saved my noggin once real good, careful batman :!:

Caught Fri 9 ferry, hooked up w/ Ruskie & Phat at wicked truckarmada iddling reststop 6am after almost being assaulted/raped in Kalama at 4:30, almost ran outta fuel in Portland til I found a friendly 76, more later. 1/2 hr sleep, off to Florence, got in at 11, all set up, sailing at 4, huge surfwells in rivermouth, surfer heaven, some were getting huge rides :shock: Kiters ripping it up w/ wind up high, windsurfers aching for more wind but w/ waves 6.2 won't work :cry: Camping on jetty, party in my Van, haven't laughed so hard in years, Full Sail beer is sooo sweet :D what fun 8)
Sand in all orifices :lol:
