Rick and kelly up at 5:30 to fish Swiftsure Bank and later the W247 family arrives for the week. We are starting to take up a large portion on the beach with kiddie toys, tables, and noise! Wait til the other part of my family arrives tomorrow!!
The wind finally picked up at 3pm and I was able to sail the Surfwood 70 with the 4.8 and 4.2 until 5pm. Monumental moment ........ managed an awkward bottom smacking jibe on the 70L on port tack!!!!!! Ugly but exhilarating!! Fun sailing with Meiri, W247, Kelly and the Windfish and Wreckless (after his nap). Fabulous barbecue on the beach with tuna and salmon........caught .......at the store.......not sure about these 'fishermen' being able to provide for their families. Humph!!
