The day started out well, it was a little light and the biggest kite I brought with me was my 12m, so out on the water I went and was a little underpowered and eventually ended up downwind. Instead of landing the kite I decided to walk up the beach with it in the air. I was almost back at the launch sight when a lull hit and my kite ended up in the trees...Ahhh...it was atleast 30ft up on this ironwood tree :oops: . Three hours later, manged to get it down with some help from some local plam tree trimmers with climbing gear and some $$$. No rips and some nice rat-nest lines to untangle.
