Easily the most memorable session I have and may ever have! Launched off the pink granite rocks upwind of our anchorage. Wind was more powerfull than I hasd thought and it continued to build as I was out. Did a few passes around my launch site and proceeded for a nice downwinder, passing through a narrow chanel with pink granite rocks on either side of me and into our sheltered anchorage. 35 boats in the bay, flat glassy water on the downwind side of the flat granite island. Continued down through the boats to find my father and his remaining crew (mom and girfriend) had dragged their anchor and had been doing circles for 20 mins. Dumped the kite and swam to shore, bot my pickup from the dinghy (brother) and followed the boat around to a sheltered bay. Got on board, pulled out the #2 and sailed in 25-28 knots of wind down to a more sheltered bay. FANTASTIC!
