After yesterday's punishment, I was a bit slow to get on the water. But the legs managed to hold out ok. The wind was slow to pick up, but in the end it came up strong and I went out on the 5.3. I quickly realized I was super overpowered. Too much power to think about getting in the footstraps. Mostly I was just trying to hang on. But at least getting upwind was a cinch, and I could practice lots of downwind turns! Almost made one jibe - got the board and sail all the way around, but couldn't manage the foot change. Fun weekend - so nice to have lots of great friends around!! :D
