Crazy wind!
At the end, my kite was surging all over the place.
Then I found when I got home,
it was 22 gusting to 26 when I landed.
I love my new kites.
I was attaching my board leash to my harness shorts,
but today I crashed, board submerged, kite powered up.
And SNAP!!!
Now I have to re-attach the handle on my harness.
So I got some unwanted practice at dragging upwind for my board.
Which JL and I were just talking about how, because we use the leash,
we are lax on that skill.
I was going back and forth, and almost got back to it.
But I was having to drag through more and more kelp beds.
So I just came back to the beach, ran up a little. Spotted my board, and
went and got it.( I cheated)
Just after I saw the Go-Joe!
I don't know if I'm ready to give up my hold on my leash yet,
but I will get the GJ.
I had lots of fun today!
