A fantastic first of the year CB session. Arrived for the wind up, which had me out there for 2 hrs on a 5.0 when 4.5 woulda done just fine (can you say sheet out?). Back in for da 4.5, and out for two more hours. It felt lighter ~4PM, so I called it quits (OK, I was a little tired), then it cranked back up to 4.0 or more, giving the later arrivals a session and keeping da wind doctor out for more!!! I shoulda taken the 72L board.... Some decent rides in and a few successful outbound flights!!! Biggest crowd I have seen at CB in a while (~30 boards and as many spectators & locals to cheer all on). EXCELLENT DAY!!! NO BIG HIKES!!!
