:D They should outlaw that kind of fun ! Another primo session.
Watch out for lots of dog crap everywhere . One of these days I should do Sh*t patrol to clean up the latent festering poo.
I did a back to back test of the Mako and my beloved Agression 128. Overall I'd prefer riding the Agression in most conditions:
Summary:
Mako:
-Faster than Agression
-Bounces a bit in chop - I think the length is a factor - more than I like
-Edges well but slips a bit from time to time and when slashing
-Cant do a satisfying high spray when slashing
-Goes upwind great - slightly better than the Agression and faster
-Lands with relatively hard impact from jumps and chop hops - this is what I like least about the board. Probably due to the flex and length
- with large feet, they catch more going toeside without plenty of speed
- Very comfy footstraps on top of foot.
-For me its most fun in smoother water with a big kite cause its so fast
Agression:
-Noticeably more drag than Mako, slower, which helps with control. in a gust though you can point downwind and turn on the gas with no fear
-Handles more kite power with comfort
-Edge bite and hold is unreal. much better edge grip than Mako and when carving in swell
-Slices thru chop like crazy and has flex tips that help. Much smoother riding than the Mako in serious chop
- Landing from jumps is ultra smooth.
-Board weighs just over 5lb set up.
