WOW......was that fun!! So glad we opted to give Cook St. a try........wasn't expecting those conditions locally today....... And...... the timing was perfect. Exciting waves but for once no problems getting out through the shorebreak thanks to my nice little rig and board. OP at times in the gusts but still managed to do one walk of shame after my initial run. Finding that extremely inconvenient I stayed upwind thereafter! Okay .....it was only another two runs. Sure lose strength fast in cooler conditions. Definately time to invest in some Dakine Cold Water Mitts......anyone know of a Canadian source? More wind please ASAP!!!
