Made B-line @4:15 after gusts arrived, drove & rigged record time. Few good runs pumping for planes but then Eelgrass got me again  Disgusted as it got dark I watched as waves built so went out again, only to be OP in minutes, ripping, then tailwalking in darkness. Braille waveriding in beauty rollers, watching for white & using streetlites to gybe  When I ripped past a 16" log 30 feet long  I packed it in, 1 board/week lost is enough
Sail 6(10 8) )Wave 8 Jump 3
De-rigging proved to be a pain, lost almost everything once in the darkness; wind ripping at this time near 35+ knots; sailing in these conditions in the dark when the wind is building bigtime just wasn't clever, wouldn't recommend it, novelty thing today tho after having to fight with that filthy eelgrass :x I just wanted to see if it could be done, felt relatively safe no more than 100 yards from shore and the white froth really helps locate wavecrests for jumps but landing them it tough....not sure if you are 6' or 6" in the air  You really DO have to be able to do gybes in your sleep...in the dark....the clincher was the humongous log I missed by a mere 10 feet while tailwalking toward the beach, reality check :? I'd do it again some day (maybe with a spare board & fin?) guess I'm kinda not so smart
