Fantastic session. First time I've seen rideable waves of that size at Kook St. Dave had a couple of great rides (one over the reef) that had me thinking that we were back at Florence. The new Hotrod mast supercharged my Superfreak. Stoked! Snapped the screw on my Evo's rear strap and was forced to use the big board for the rest of the session. Surprisingly the 4.7 and 92 liter board combo felt ok in the high wind. Landed one buttery smooth backloop dry and crashed the rest savagely. Had some good forwards and some hateful land-on-the-head-ones. Finally started to get the feel of some decent shuvits with good backwind action. Dave was ripping his waverides and had some sweet shuvits. GMAC showed later for a quick kite session followed by Mark and John. Thanks to John for the beach delivery of pizza and Gatorade!! A very niiice. It's been a great week!
