A bit jaded on missing the first fall SE at IV so I was determined to get on the water today. Had the family out there early and it felt doable so returned with gear and got some foil time. Utilized the flat water to work on toeside tacks and was managed all the way around on foil twice which felt good. Pushing the wing over made the difference. Also tried riding backwinded and it is starting to get more natural feeling. On one catapult riding switch I launched in front of the board and was expecting the board to come straight at me but noticed upon inspection that the tether snapped on my leash. Happy I wasn't in different conditions for that one. Probably some of the lightest conditions thus far but still fun. I knew it was going to switch to SW so called it before that.
