Tried the demo MFC 980 Helios foil. Sort of a hybrid mid aspect/HA foil. Really fun! Not as glidey/pumpey as a full HA foil but better roll-over and turning. Great tip breaching recovery in turns (heard it sucking air in hard carves and it didn't even flinch). Came out of some toe side tacks like I was spat out on this foil! Lit on the 2.5M after getting killed on 4M initially. Some fun shoulder-head high swell outside early but as the ebb came on it flattened right out. Fun session. Anyone wanting to demo this foil, pls reach out as I'll have it for a couple of weeks or so from Dirty Mermaid Watersports. Hope to get some more tomorrow!
GPS upload looked wonky (Waterspeed app metrics look completely different). Max 19.1 knots, 2 sec 18.5 knots, 500M 18 knots.
