I finally did it, put a hole in a brand new wing! Was super stoked to try the new KT 3.5 and my new Sabfoil 699/370 combo. Probably a bad choice to try 2 new things at once in 35 Knots with some massive waves happening. Got up on the foil twice then crashed, ending upwind of my board with my wing. Saw the foil sticking up in the air and knew what was coming, a second later the wing took off right into the foil. So that was the end of that. Got back to shore and rigged my 4.2. Windsurfed for 3 hours and it was awesome. South winds made for some sweet bottom turns and big ramps. I was not quite up for the ramps though. One backie attempt went sideways and I decided to stick with the wave rides. Lots of fun but the entire session I kept thinking, what was I thinking!
